Hit the jump for more on each project.

Squirrels to the Nuts centers on “a married Broadway director (Wilson) who meets a call girl (Poots) and tries to convince her to change her life, causing a domino effect that complicates his life.”  According to THR, Forte plays the writer of the show Wilson is directing.  O’Neal and Bogdanovich are reuniting 40 years after their Oscar-winning collaboration, Paper Moon.  According to The Wrap, O’Neal will make a cameo appearance that is currently under wraps.  Kathryn Hahn, Cybill ShepherdRichard Lewis, Austin Pendleton, and George Morfogen also star.transformers-4-logo

According to Deadline, Welliver joined the Transformers cast in an unspecified role.  Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles, TJ Miller, Bingbing Li, and Han Geng co-star.  The untitled sequel is scheduled for release on June 27, 2014.

James Corden and Emily Blunt star in Into the Woods as a baker and his wife, on a quest to reverse a curse that keeps them from starting a family.  The twist: the couple encounter Brothers Grimm fairy tale characters along the way.  Depp (The Wolf), Streep (The Witch), Pine (Rapunzel’s Prince), Kendrick (Cinderella), Christine Baranski (Cinderellla’s Stepmother), Daniel Huttlestone (Jack), and Tracey Ullman (Jack’s Mother) round out the supporting cast.  According to Deadline, Mauzy will play Rapunzel and Magnussen is set to play her Prince.  Both Mauzy and Magnussen have about 200 daytime soap episodes under their belt as well as an experience on Broadway.  I am not familiar with either, but approve the casting of Mauzy based on a great head of hair—curly locks for days.  Into the Woods opens December 25, 2014.
