Kumiko The Treasure Hunter is David Zellner's darkly comedic odyssey that follows Academy Award-nominee Rinko Kikuchi in the title role as a frustrated office worker whose imagination is her only escape from her boring life. When Kumiko discovers a mysterious, battered VHS tape of a popular film she's mistaken for a documentary, she becomes obsessed with finding the film's depiction of a suitcase of stolen cash buried somewhere in the desolate, frozen landscape of North Dakota. She sets off from Tokyo in search of the treasure and finds herself on a dangerous adventure unlike anything she's seen in the movies.

We've got five free iTunes downloads of the film to giveaway to some lucky winners before it's available for purchase on VOD/Digital HD release on June 19th; the Blu-ray is coming June 30th. Besides being free, the iTunes download is packed with extras including alternate scenes, behind-the-scenes clips and an exclusive extended interview with the Zellner Brothers and Rinko Kikuchi.
