We've got three new looks at three big superhero movies coming up this summer:

  • The Wolverine - Starring Hugh Jackman as Logan/Wolverine in James Mangold's Japan-based actioner, The Wolverine opens July 26th.
  • Iron Man 3 - Stars Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow feature in this new image from Shane Black's Iron Man 3, opening May 3rd.
  • Man of Steel - Henry Cavill stars as Superman, seen here in cuffs and surrounded by police.  Zack Snyder's Man of Steel opens June 14th.

The shot of Wolvie is definitely new, but the Iron Man 3 and Man of Steel images appear to be official releases from the previously seen trailers and posters.  Take a look at each of them below (via EW):

Here's the synopsis for The Wolverine:

Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.

Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale with Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley, Iron Man 3 is directed by Shane Black from a screenplay by Drew Pearce and Shane Black and is based on Marvel’s iconic Super Hero Iron Man, who first appeared on the pages of Tales of Suspense (#39) in 1963 and had his solocomic book debut with The Invincible Iron Man (#1) in May of 1968. Iron Man 3 is presented by Marvel Studios in association with Paramount Pictures and DMG Entertainment. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing and Jon Favreau, Louis D’Esposito, Stephen Broussard, Victoria Alonso, Alan Fine, Charles Newirth, Stan Lee and Dan Mintz are executive producers.
