Here’s the synopsis for The Wolverine:

Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.

Here’s the official synopsis for Iron Man 3:

Marvel Studios’ Iron Man 3 pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?

Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale with Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley, Iron Man 3 is directed by Shane Black from a screenplay by Drew Pearce and Shane Black and is based on Marvel’s iconic Super Hero Iron Man, who first appeared on the pages of Tales of Suspense (#39) in 1963 and had his solocomic book debut with The Invincible Iron Man (#1) in May of 1968. Iron Man 3 is presented by Marvel Studios in association with Paramount Pictures and DMG Entertainment. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing and Jon Favreau, Louis D’Esposito, Stephen Broussard, Victoria Alonso, Alan Fine, Charles Newirth, Stan Lee and Dan Mintz are executive producers. The film releases May 3, 2013, and is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

Here’s the synopsis for Man of Steel:

In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Cavill) is a young twentysomething journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond anyone’s imagination. Transported to Earth years ago from Krypton, an advanced alien planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question – Why am I here? Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Costner), Clark soon discovers that having super abilities means making very difficult decisions. But when the world needs stability the most, it comes under attack. Will his abilities be used to maintain peace or ultimately used to divide and conquer? Clark must become the hero known as “Superman,” not only to shine as the world’s last beacon of hope but to protect the ones he loves.

This might be the best post ever for just three reasons.

    • tarek

      reason 1, reason 2, reason 3.

      well done.

Three things: 1. Thank heavens they got Wolverine’s claws right! They look like practical props and not poor cgi from a certain movie… 2. That shot of Pepper and Iron Man seems to be a recurring one, by that I mean the promo material seems to be stressing their relationship. Perhaps Pepper does? 3. Superman. That is all.
Side Note: Shout out to Christopher Meloni.

notice on the left claw, looks very cgi. lol.

  • amg907

Hugh jackmans claws look cgi to me. Hugh looks pretty “jacked” too.

Henry Cavill appears like her jumped out of a comic book and I like the physical presence of Superman in the still. Really towers over the military personnel.

  • Superman, Spiderman, etc. They’re pretty damn amazing clothing designers, their alter ego’s should work in the fashion industry.

Are there any pics of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine that don’t look ridiculous?

  • mad man

……..I just can’t take that superman costume seriously and i know it’s from a comic but it still just looks a little silly to me.

    • ap30

Yeah throw some red underwear on OVER his blue tights and then it will look a little less silly, right?

      • Kevin G

        Actually, yes.

  • Andrew

Detective Stabler is in the back right of the Superman pic. Did the Man of Steel get arrested by SVU for diddling kids?

  • Thinkaboutit!

Disagree. That new Superman costume is awesome. Cavil will be a great Supes. I recently saw Singer’s Superman Returns – what an awful film. Brandon Routh…hmm he is no Superman, but, he should be cast in Coyote Ugly 2 or 3.

  • Que

Love that Superman suit, can’t wait for the movie to drop!

  • Chike T,e,g Abiakam
