While these might not be the most flattering set photos of Hugh Jackman in The Wolverine, fans couldn’t care less. We already brought you some concept art and set photos from a “Japanese prisoner of war camp,” but now we have some images from the set in the “Canadian Rockies.” While these photos are actually from the shoot taking place in Australia, it’s been suggested that The Wolverine is following Frank Miller’s early storyline which puts the eventual X-Man in the frozen north tracking a man-eating Grizzly Bear. Thanks to CBM for the heads up on the set photos. They also provided a bit of insight into the reason for the Canadian setting. In Miller and Chris Claremont’s Wolverine storyline, the titular character discovers that the mad Grizzly had been poisoned by a local hunter. Using his heightened tracking skills, Logan traces the hunter back to a local bar where a ruckus ensues. Twenty bucks on who wins. I enjoyed xmen origins: wolverine and am really looking forward to this.
Just came from the set, I have more pics, and video of wolverine walking across the road. Exciting stuff
I did not enjoy xmen origins: wolverine and am extremely skeptical of this.
Of course you are , since this film has nothing to do with the last, has a script by Oscar-winner McQuarrie, a different director, AND is based on the most iconic Wolverine storyline in the history of the character.

I hated xmen orgins: wolverine but this seems more like a reboot so if they make the character of wolverine more gritty and violent it will be good and maybe a R rating

Don\\\\\\\’t expect a R rating however Jackman did say they would \\\\"possibly\\\\" have an unrated version for DVD/BD. I think the director also stated this….also I believe Hugh Jackman said he felt it needed to be PG-13 for the teens who want to see the film which I must say I agree with if I were 16 I wouldn\\\\\\\’t want to miss one of my favorite superheros on the big screen.

I also enjoyed Orgins, it to me was a very good action flick it had some of the best acting I\\\\\\\’ve seen in a comic book adaptation Lieve/Hugh. However as a comic book fan I do understand the frustration some have toward it….nonetheless a movie will never be EXACTLY like a book…nor should it IMO. /snoozefest
