CBS Films has released a new image and TV spot for the gothic horror film The Woman in Black.  The movie centers on a young attorney (Daniel Radcliffe) who goes to settle an estate of a recently deceased eccentric, but discovers that the house belonging to his client may be haunted.  In the real estate game, they call say those homes have "Personality".

I'm a little sick of CBS Films spoiling every scare in the movie in order to promote their scary movie, but I guess it's already a tough sell when you're asking the audience to check out a non-mainstream horror sub-genre and to buy Radcliffe in his first major non-Harry Potter role.  I still think the movie looks good; I just don't want to see any more of it in the ads.  If spoilers don't bother you, hit the jump to check out the TV spot along with the new image.  The film also stars Ciarán Hinds and recent Golden Globes nominee Janet McTeer (Albert Nobbs).  The Woman in Black opens February 3, 2012.

Here's the official synopsis for The Woman in Black:

Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe), a widowed lawyer whose grief has put his career in jeopardy, is sent to a remote village to sort out the affairs of a recently deceased eccentric. But upon his arrival, it soon becomes clear that everyone in the town is keeping a deadly secret. Although the townspeople try to keep Kipps from learning their tragic history, he soon discovers that the house belonging to his client is haunted by the ghost of a woman who is determined to find someone and something she lost... and no one, not even the children, are safe from her vengeance.
