For more than a few attendees of San Diego Comic-Con 2016, the big panel will be tomorrow's Wonder Woman panel, which will premiere the first full trailer for the upcoming DC movie. Not only is the DC title a depressingly daring work in that it focuses exclusively on a female superhero, something that should be happening way, way more often, it's the most promising title in the DC canon right now. I'm excited to see David Ayer's take on Suicide Squad, especially considering the fact that Ayer actually conveys a personal vision in his films, but I can't say that I'm totally on board with Jared Leto's Joker. Even if Leto ends up winning audiences over, however, Wonder Woman remains the best hope for the DC films, even above Ben Affleck's Batman, as she was irrefutably the best part of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

In anticipation of tomorrow's panel, Wonder Woman herself Gal Gadot shared the San Diego Comic-Con 2016 poster for the film, which, no kidding, is a gorgeous piece of work. The image highlights her famous costume and though part of me isn't entirely comfortable with the fact that the image blacks out her face and focuses entirely on her figure, the poster is nevertheless eye-catching in its use of color and shadow. You can check out a full view of the poster right below.

Wonder Woman hits theaters nationwide on June 2nd, 2017.
