Elizabeth Hurley Cast as the Villain in WONDER WOMAN Pilot [UPDATED]

We’ve already heard that Friday Night Lights star Adrianne Palicki has snagged the role of Wonder Woman for NBC’s new TV series adaptation of the DC Comics character, but who will she be facing off against? Now we have half of the answer as Elizabeth Hurley (Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery) updated her Twitter feed saying,

“Thrilled to be doing the NBC pilot Wonder Woman. I’ll be playing the evil villain. Can’t wait.”

Of course what we don’t know is what villain she would be playing in the series. She’ll certainly bring the sex appeal to whatever role she’s taking, but as far as I know, Wonder Woman doesn’t really have an arch nemesis in the way that Superman has Lex Luthor. In a quick search, I think my favorite choices would be Cheetah or Baroness von Gunther. Either way, I’m not all that familiar with the hero’s long line of villains, so I’ll leave it up to you guys. What villain do you think Hurley will play in the pilot?
