New posters have been released for World War Z, Pacific Rim, and The Conjuring.  Starting with World War Z, Paramount seems determined to make sure that no zombies are shown in the marketing beyond a faceless hoard.  This new poster also copies the previous one, and so we’re stuck with a handsome guy looking over devastation.  Is that enough to get people interested?  Moving on to Pacific Rim, it’s a giant robot about to take a nasty-looking blade to a giant monster.  It’s easy to understand, and easy to like.  Finally, the UK poster for The Conjuring is sadly generic and rests on the power of a creepy doll.  This could be used for countless horror movies.

Hit the jump to check out the posters.  World War Z opens in 3D on June 21st.  Pacific Rim opens in 3D on July 12th.  The Conjuring opens July 19th.

Here’s the official synopsis for Pacific Rim:

When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity’s resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju. On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes–a washed up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi)–who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past. Together, they stand as mankind’s last hope against the mounting apocalypse.

Here’s the official synopsis for The Conjuring:

Before there was Amityville, there was Harrisville. Based on a true story, “The Conjuring” tells the horrifying tale of how world-renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren were called upon to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse. Forced to confront a powerful demonic entity, the Warrens find themselves caught in the most terrifying case of their lives.
