WORLD WAR Z, THE HEAT, and IRON MAN 3 TV Spots. New TV spots for World War Z, The Heat, and Iron Man 3. World War Z stars Brad Pitt.

New TV spots for a few highly anticipated summer films have landed online. Briefly:

World War Z – A new TV spot for director Marc Forster’s zombie apocalypse drama teases the global scope of the film while also featuring a bit of new footage. Starring Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos, and Matthew Fox, the film opens in 3D on June 21st.
The Heat – Director Paul Feig’s Bridesmaids follow-up promises to bring the goods, and this new TV spot does a nice job of teasing the chemistry between Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy in the R-rated buddy cop comedy. The film opens on June 28th.
Iron Man 3 – Yes, more footage from Shane Black’s Marvel sequel. This latest international TV spot is geared towards the massive amount of destruction that will be on full display in the pic. Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, and Ben Kingsley, the film opens in 3D on May 3rd.

Here’s the official synopsis for World War Z:

The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself. Enos plays Gerry’s wife Karen Lane; Kertesz is his comrade in arms, Segen.

Here’s the official synopsis for The Heat:

Uptight and straight-laced, FBI Special Agent Sarah Ashburn (Sandra Bullock) is a methodical investigator with a reputation for excellence–and hyper-arrogance. Shannon Mullins (Melissa McCarthy), one of Boston P.D.’s “finest,” is foul-mouthed and has a very short fuse, and uses her gut instinct and street smarts to catch the most elusive criminals. Neither has ever had a partner, or a friend for that matter. When these two wildly incompatible law officers join forces to bring down a ruthless drug lord, they become the last thing anyone expected: buddies. From Paul Feig, the director of “Bridesmaids.”
