Fox's upcoming mega mutant movie X-Men: Apocalypse unleashed its epic trailer upon the interwebs today, and fans simply couldn't get enough. Bryan Singer already shared his thoughts on the trailer and specifically Quicksilver's new scene in the movie, but the director also took time out of his hectic schedule to field some questions from fans and cast members alike.

Singer's one of the greatest directors of our time when it comes to his ability to connect with fandoms, either through his work and how closely it hews to the source material, or through his use of social media. Today's Q&A session was a great example of how he excels at both. While you shouldn't expect Singer to reveal any huge spoilers in the following video responses, he does delve into the tone, inspiration, and characters of his upcoming comic book adaptation.
