Three New Featurettes plus an International Poster for X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST

     April 17, 2014

20th Century Fox has released three new X-Men: Days of Future Past featurettes along with a new international poster.  The follow-up finds Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) having his consciousness sent back to 1973 in order to help Professor X (James McAvoy), Magneto (Michael Fassbender), and the rest of the X-Men: First Class crew stop Bolivar Trask (Peter Dinklage) and the rise of the Sentinels, giant robots programmed to exterminate mutants.  These featurettes contain new footage, and I continue to be excited for this movie (unlike some other folks, I’ve enjoyed all the trailers).

Hit the jump to check out the featurettes and the new poster.  The film also stars Jennifer LawrenceNicholas Hoult, Patrick StewartIan McKellenEvan PetersEllen PageShawn AshmoreHalle BerryLucas TillOmar SyAdan CantoDaniel Cudmore, and Bingbing Fan.  X-Men: Days of Future Past opens in 2D and 3D.

Here’s the official synopsis for X-Men: Days of Future Past:

The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. The beloved characters from the original “X-Men” film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from “X-Men: First Class,” in an epic battle that must change the past – to save our future.

Finally a somewhat decent poster for X-men DOFP. Mystique isn’t the biggest character on the poster! Still bigger than Professor X and Magneto- Hell!- she was even in the Amazing Spiderman 2 clip! :/

Decent poster? Magneto looks like Xavier’s pudgy bodyguard.

Won’t see this now. Mr. Singer likes little boys! I will not give my money to this movie.

Even if the lawsuit was accurate at its face value which it is not your statement is not accurate … I guarantee its some washed up actor and crooked law firm making a cash grab … a clear political stab at the LGBT community when they think Bryan and Fox are vulnerable.

They had to file the suit in Hawaii because it wouldn’t be accepted in any other state.

I am sure it’s just a coincidence that the suit was filed right before Bryan’s largest endeavor to date is about to be released.

If the claims of the lawsuit are true (and we in the public really don’t know at this point), then who cares if the actor is washed up, or if the law firm involved is making a cash grab. If the claims are true Singer is a pedophile and a horrible human being, and there’s no reason to try to turn this into an attack on the LGBT community, which could backfire badly.

I say this as a huge fan of Singer’s movies, ever since The Usual Suspects. I hope the claims in the lawsuit aren’t true, but if he was attending parties at a known pedophile’s house, that’s bad enough right there.

And if it is true, then bon voyage Singer! He can go to France with Polanski where he’ll be accepted as a pedophile rapist filmmaker. Victor Salva can go too, even though he barely has a career left here anyways.

we will have to wait and see … I would be interested to follow the money trail as to who is bank rolling this witch hunt

So much for innocent until proven guilty. By your own logic, if I was to call you a dick, that allegation would automatically be true.

Very tricky territory here with all these allegations but in certain corners of the internet, it would appear not a lot of people are surprised. It does have a very crazydaysandnights vibe to it. Weho Confidential have been making innuendos about Singer for a while now. Very easy to get swept up in this trial by internet stuff. Best to wait until there’s more info.

Either way, this is gonna hurt Fox. Not banking on Singer coming back for Apocalypse now.

I love how these posters are starting to look like old school comic covers. I never thought I’d see the day when fan made wish casting posters would be outdone by official posters, sprawling with characters played by actors we’d love to see on screen. And as for the recent allegations, it’d be a shame if proven true, but timing seems somewhat suspect. Crazy times, & seems the internet ‘ s accessibility into that world would inspire more to speak out. Innocent til proven guilty, however. Hope it doesn’t detract from the p.r. for what still looks like a pretty ambitious & entertaining flick.
