While Comic-Con is littered with great panels, merchandise, and first-looks at footage from film and TV, the convention also plays host to a number of more subtle teases for upcoming genre properties.  It’s pretty much a given that one of Fox’s “mystery” films poised to appear during the studio’s Hall H panel on Saturday will be X-Men: Days of Future Past, and that presence has all but been confirmed with a first look at the antagonistic Sentinels on the streets of San Diego.  Earlier today, a booth was set up just outside the convention center that boasts the Trask Industries logo and offers a glimpse at the head of the mechanistic Sentinels, as Trask Industries asks ongoers to “celebrate 50 years of human progress.”  The Sentinels are, of course, giant robots whose sole purpose is to hunt and kill mutants.

The villainous Trask will be played by Peter Dinklage in the film, but we should have much more info on X-Men: Days of Future Past to report after the panel on Saturday.  For now, hit the jump to check out the Sentinel image.

A viral site for the film has also been activated over at trask-industries.com, but as of now it’s very minimal.
