New Set Photo from X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST Reveals Familiar Scenery; Bryan Singer Teases Comic-Con Panel

     February 20, 2013

Director Bryan Singer has been making excellent use of Twitter lately, as he’s been using the social media website to actually break casting news for the upcoming sequel X-Men: Days of Future Past.  Now, as production on the film looms closer, Singer has started teasing the actual film on Twitter.  Just yesterday he shared an image of the wheelchairs for the young and old versions of Professor X, and today he’s revealed a photo of a set that will look very familiar to fans of the past X-Men films.  Moreover, Singer’s caption of “How many days until Comic-Con?” appears to confirm that Days of Future Past will indeed have a panel at the convention as we previously surmised.

Hit the jump to take a look at the set photo.  The film stars Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Ian McKellan, Patrick Stewart, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Hugh Jackman, and Peter DinklageX-Men: Days of Future Past opens in 3D on July 18, 2014.

…this is what happens when you spend all of your budget on casting and wheelchairs!

HaHa… yup, it looks like Singer’s doing this X-Men in the vibe of Von Trier’s Dogville.

  • Stinky

Looks like Singer is pretending like the third X-Men flick never happened. Just like everyone who saw it.

x-men 3 really wasnt that bad…. the reason no one likes it is because brett ratner killed off beloved characters(that bugged me also but i still like the movie).

GTFO. Even Ratner should hate himself for that stinkpile.

the ONLY thing the third movie did right was beast! they got beast 100% right and i can tell that was Ratner’s favorite x-men character. also casting was spot on… that’s it…. that’s all it had going for it.

i hope this bringing back the old actors doesn’t put the new actors aside. McAvoy, Fassbender and Lawrence should still be front and center

Is Singer posting all this X-Men stuff right now to distract from how terrible “Jack The Giant Slayer” looks?

Look at this shiny thing over here!!!
