It seems like every single year, new and exciting series are coming out left and right, whether from streaming services like Netflix or from cable networks. Some would even go as far to say that television is becoming a better story outlet than film. With television offering more opportunities to expand on a variety of stories and further detail or study characters, it's hard to disagree that TV has become a place for writers to cut loose a bit more.
