Today at 11am EST/4pm London time, the cast, crew and creator of the Harry Potter movie series will be arriving in Trafalgar Square for the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2. While the rest of us will have to wait one more week to see the final installment in the epic franchise, YouTube and Facebook are granting us a ringside view to the celebratory atmosphere at the premiere. Scheduled to appear are Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Emma Watson (Hermione Granger), Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley), director David Yates, producers David Heyman and David Barron, and author J.K. Rowling herself. Check out the Harry Potter YouTube site for a brief message from the cast and the Livestream of the premiere later this morning. YouTube also has three cameras to pick from which include arrivals, Trafalgar Square and main show. And follow all our continuing Harry Potter coverage here.
I hate to project, but I bet this movie will be nominated for an Oscar or two.
I’m hoping for a Best Picture nod. Maybe it’ll go the route of LOTR and snag a Best Picture award for the last movie.
But on a more realistic note, it’ll probably get nominated for things like Best Original Score, Editing, Costume Design, Visual Effects, Sound Mixing and Editing, and maybe even Adapted Screenplay, but I doubt it.
If it’s anything like the last one, there’s no way it’ll get nominated for editing. But I wouldn’t mind it getting a few nominations elsewhere.
OMG!!! I SOOO wish I was at the harry potter premiere. LUV U 4EVER TOM FELTON!
You know it would be better if they streamed the film.
