There are a lot of movies coming our way in the New Year, far more than we could cover in our 20 Most Anticipated Movies of 2016 list, so we decided to spread the love and go through all of the 2016 releases studio by studio starting with Sony. Last year Sony had some big winners at the box office, like Spectre and Hotel Transylvania 2, and it also came close to fostering an awards season run with Concussion, but this year could be stronger in both respects should some of its most promising projects pan out well.

Similar to the big list, each member of the Collider team came up with his or her own personal Top 5 list, each position received a numerical value and then the results were tallied up and we wound up with this final list. So here you have it, our Most Anticipated Sony Releases of 2016. Keep an eye out for more studio-specific Most Anticipated lists over the next few weeks.
