Sony has set the Jonah Hill-led remake of 21 Jump Street for March 16, 2012, where it will go head to head with fellow remake Contraband.  Hill plays an undercover cop on assignment in high school in Jump Street, which he says is like "a John Hughes movie with Bad Boys-style action.”  Last we heard, writer/director Phil Lord was still looking to cast Hill's policial partner, but an offer is out to Emma Stone for the female lead.

Lionsgate has slated the Jason Momoa-led remake Conan for August 19, 2011, where it faces Fright Night and Spy Kids 4.  Stephen Lang (Avatar), Ron Pearlman (Hellboy), Rose McGowan (Grindhouse), and Rachel Nichols (Star Trek) also star in the revival of the Conan the Barbarian character, who was played on screen in the early 80s by Arnold Schwarzenegger.  Check out some images from the film here, here, here, and of course, here.
