It's difficult to define "chemistry" between two actors.  We know it when we see it.  Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum had it in 21 Jump Street, and now it looks even stronger in the sequel.  A new featurette has been released where the actors explain that they're good together on-screen because they're friends in real life, but I think that's selling their acting a little short.  There have been married couples who have co-starred in movies and failed at finding chemistry, so while an off-screen relationship may be good, you still have to perform when the cameras roll.  As you can see from this featurette, Hill and Tatum have no problem performing (although improvising isn't easy for Jenko).

Hit the jump to check out the new 22 Jump Street featurette.  The film opens June 13th, and also stars Ice Cube, Nick Offerman, Amber Stevens, Peter Stormare, Rob Riggle, Dave Franco, Jillian Bell, and Craig Roberts.

Here’s the official synopsis for 22 Jump Street:

After making their way through high school (twice), big changes are in store for officers Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) when they go deep undercover at a local college. But when Jenko meets a kindred spirit on the football team, and Schmidt infiltrates the bohemian art major scene, they begin to question their partnership. Now they don’t have to just crack the case – they have to figure out if they can have a mature relationship. If these two overgrown adolescents can grow from freshmen into real men, college might be the best thing that ever happened to them.
