Phil Lord and Chris Miller's 22 Jump Street is one of my most-anticipated films of 2014.  I adore 21 Jump Street, and it only gets better on repeat viewings.  It's quotable and makes for great background.  The official synopsis for the upcoming sequel has been released, and if it weren’t for Lord and Miller at the helm, I'd be a bit nervous.  In 22 Jump Street, Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko's (Channing Tatum) partnership is tested again except this time they're back in the roles they had when they were in high school for real—Jenko is the jock, and Schmidt is in the bohemian art scene (no word if he's started a new juggling society).  I have high expectations for the new movie, but I have faith in the talent.  I also have faith in Korean Jesus.

Hit the jump for the official synopsis.  The film also stars Ice Cube, Amber Stevens, Jillian Bell, and Craig Roberts22 Jump Street opens June 13, 2014.

Here's the official synopsis:

After making their way through high school (twice), big changes are in store for officers Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) when they go deep undercover at a local college. But when Jenko meets a kindred spirit on the football team, and Schmidt infiltrates the bohemian art major scene, they begin to question their partnership. Now they don't have to just crack the case - they have to figure out if they can have a mature relationship. If these two overgrown adolescents can grow from freshmen into real men, college might be the best thing that ever happened to them.
