While it's taken a little while to get to movie screens, director Peter Jackson's The Lovely Bones finally hits theaters next weekend - if you live in New York and Los Angeles.  If you're not in one of those cities, you'll have to wait till Christmas Day.  The film is based on the Novel by Alice Sebold and it's been written by Fran Walsh & Philippa Boyens & Peter Jackson.  Here's the synopsis:

On her way home from school on a snowy December day in 1973, 14-year-old Susie Salmon is lured into a makeshift underground den in a cornfield and brutally raped and murdered, the latest victim of a serial killer--the man she knew as her neighbor, Mr. Harvey. From heaven, Susie keeps watch over her grieving family and friends, as well as her brazen killer and the sad detective working on her case.  The film stars Rachel Weisz, Mark Wahlberg, Susan Sarandon, Stanley Tucci, Michael Imperioli and Saoirse Ronan.

To help promote the film, we've been provided with five clips.  Check them out after the jump and look for our interviews with the cast very soon:
