Elisabeth Röhm (Heroes) joins the impressive likes of Sigourney Weaver and Maria Bello in the circle of female supporting players that surrounds star Taylor Lautner in Abduction.  The thriller follows Lautner as he "goes on the run after discovering that his parents aren’t his own when he sees his baby picture on a missing persons website."  Röhm will play Lautner's biological mother; according to Risky Business, the role was previously earmarked for Emily Mortimer.  John Singleton (Four Brothers) will direct from a script by Jeffrey Nachmanoff (The Day After Tomorrow) and greenhorne Shawn Christensen.

Turkish writer/director Mahsun Kirmizigül represented his homeland at last year's Oscars with I Saw the Sun.  He plans to make his English-language debut this year with Five Minarets, though the filmmaker won't stray too far from his roots.  According to THR, Gina Gershon stars as Maria, "the wife of a Turkish scholar who is arrested by federal authorities after being wrongfully accused of a crime."  Danny Glover and Robert Patrick will join Gershon on the marquee.

Gershon can currently be seen in limited release alongside Helen Mirren and Joe Pesci in Love Ranch, Taylor Hackford's slightly insane-looking follow-up to Ray.  Danny Glover will grace the screen with one-time Oscar-nominee Patricia Clarkson and nine-time world champion professional wrestler John Cena in Legendary, out in theaters September 10, 2010.  Perhaps best known as the villainous T-1000 in Terminator 2: Judgement Day, Patrick is fresh off an excellent guest spot on Chuck.  You can check out the toy-version of Patrick (as well as the rest of our top ten Comic-Con exclusives) here.
