But enough about me.
The reason I got to speak with Alyssa last weekend (at Wizard World Los Angeles) is sheâs in the new movie âPathologyâ and she was at the convention to help promote it. If you havenât heard of the film yet, hereâs the synopsis:
Some say that Pathology is a window to God. Pathologists see the perversion and corruption of the flesh by all means unnaturalâ¦by violenceâ¦by toxinâ¦by madness⦠to determine the cause of death. As a result they are the experts in all signs of foul play and the best in the field can uncover all means of killing, even those that are seemingly undetectable.
When medical student Ted Gray (Milo Ventimiglia) graduates top of his class he joins one of the nationâs most prestigious Pathology programs. With talent and determination Ted is quickly noticed by the programâs privileged and elite band of interns who invite him into their crowd. Intrigued by his new friends he begins to uncover secrets he never expected and finds that he has unknowingly become a pawn in their dangerous and secret after-hours game at the morgue of who can commit the perfect undetectable murder. As Ted becomes seduced into their wild extracurricular activities the danger becomes real and he must stay one step ahead of the game before he is the next victim.
The reason you should care about the movie is it was written by the crazy people behind âCrankâ - Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor. Also, I managed to see some of the film at Wizard World and it looks like some really sick stuff.
Anyway, during my interview with Alyssa she talks about not only âPathology,â but all the other stuff she has coming up. Itâs a great interview, and one I was happy to do. Also, she told me sheâs never been to Comic-Con or any convention for that matter, so getting to speak with her at the first one sheâs ever done was very cool.
As I always do, Iâve listed what we talked about above the interview. And if youâve missed some of my recent video interviews, here are some links - Emile Hirsch, Christian Bale, America Ferrara and Get Smart Director Peter Segal, Producer Joel Silver, Seth Rogen,
And with thatâ¦hereâs Alyssa.
