Here we go! The American Horror Story: Hotel promos are starting to come in. Remember those short but super eerie videos FX unveiled just before the Freak Show premiere last year? Looks like they're taking a similar approach to the marketing campaign for Hotel. EW just score two 16-second videos, one of which rocks some especially unsettling imagery. We still don't have an official synopsis for the new season, but co-creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk (via Variety) did recently reveal that American Horror Story: Hotel was inspired by a surveillance video from a Los Angeles hotel. In that video, a young woman walks into an elevator and is never seen again.

You can watch the first two American Horror Story: Hotel promos below. The show returns to FX on October 7th and stars Lady Gaga as Elizabeth, the wealthy owner of the hotel, Kathy Bates as Iris, the woman who runs the hotel, Sarah Paulson as a hotel guest named Sally, Matt Bomer as Donovan, Angela Bassett as an actress who often visits the hotel named Ramona Royale, Finn Wittrock as male model Tristan Duffy, Wes Bentley as detective John Lowe, Chloe Sevigny as his wife, Cheyenne Jackson as fashion icon Will Drake and Denis O'Hare as a movie icon. Darren Criss is also set to appear as a hotel guest who gets into some trouble with Bates' character and Max Greenfield will step in to play a drug addict. EW also recently reported that Mare Winningham is coming back as well. She played Pepper's sister on Freak Show and Evan Peter's mother in Coven, and will turn up in Hotel as the facility's laundress.
