Lionsgate has released over five minutes of behind-the-scenes footage from the making of director Nima Nourizadeh’s action comedy American Ultra. Written by Chronicle scribe Max Landis, the film revolves around a stoner (Jesse Eisenberg) and his girlfriend (Kristen Stewart), who find their lives disrupted when a government operation descends upon their small town with the aim of wiping the stoner out, who is in fact a sleeper agent. The film also stars Walton Goggins, Connie Britton, Bill Pullman, and Tony Hale. For more on the film watch the trailer.

If you’re wondering what it was like to make the movie, or if you just want to see your favorite actors joking around on set, the footage gives you a great fly on the wall perspective. The only problem is for some reason the footage has no sound. While we’ve posted a lot of studio provided b-roll over the years, this is the first time it’s ever been silent.

Check out the footage below. American Ultra opens August 21st.

Note: the American Ultra footage is silent. It’s not your speakers. This is the way the studio provided the footage.
