Yesterday, Marvel Studios announced the premiere date of the first Ant-Man trailer by way of a cute, “ant-sized” teaser.  Well there’s no need to continue trying to zoom in on that footage anymore, as today Marvel released a human-sized Ant-Man trailer teaser that gives us our first look at the studio’s next addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.  It’s incredibly brief, and I’m personally not crazy about this new trend of creating trailers for trailers, but when it comes to Marvel, who are we kidding?—this thing is gonna get watched.  The teaser does give us our first look at Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne (kicking ass, I might add) as well as Corey Stoll’s antagonist, and I look forward to catching it all in context with the full trailer when it debuts on Monday.

Check out the Ant-Man trailer teaser after the jump, and check back on Monday night to see the full trailer after its debut on the series premiere of ABC’s Agent Carter (synergy!).  The film also stars Michael Douglas, Bobby CannavaleMichael PeñaAbby Ryder FortsonJudy GreerDavid DastmalchianWood HarrisGregg TurkingtonT.I., and John SlatteryAnt-Man opens in theaters on July 17th.

Here’s the official synopsis for Ant-Man:

Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.
