We've got quite some time to go before the next Marvel theatrical release, which won't arrive until Captain America: Civil War hits theaters on May 6, 2016, and even longer before the Ant-Man sequel Ant-Man and The Wasp makes its way to theaters in 2018. But for now you can tide yourself over with the upcoming Ant-Man home video release, which promises to be packed with extras including behind-the-scenes featurettes, audio commentary, deleted scenes, and more.Marvel has released a glimpse at the bonus material in the form of a deleted scene/audio commentary combo, revealing an alternate introduction to the wily character of Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) that sees him conning Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) at the same time the ex-con is casing Pym's home. Meanwhile, Rudd and director Peyton Reed offer some insight into why the scene was cut.[caption id="attachment_416974" align="alignright" width="360"]ant-man-paul-rudd-michael-douglas Image via Marvel[/caption]Reed is currently gearing up to go to work on the recently announced sequel, Ant-Man and The Wasp, which joined the studio's previously announced Phase 3 roster and caused a bit of a shuffle in the scheduling. While no official screenwriter  has been announced at this time, Adam McKay recently voiced his interest in returning for the sequel. Michael Douglas also revealed a desire to return to the MCU, which seems like a somewhat necessary step now that Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lily) is poised to step into the role of a title character.
