Well, this is one way to market a film.  Marvel has released the first Ant-Man poster, and it will likely grab the attention of people walking through a multiplex lobby as it uses plenty of white space to accent its hero's small size.  The film stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, a thief who teams up with scientist Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) to pull off a heist that will save the world.  One of Ant-Man's two superpowers is to get small (the other is controlling ants), and this poster follows the style of the trailer teaser where we got micro-sized footage of Marvel's blockbuster.  Falling between major sequels Avengers: Age of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War, Ant-Man probably won't be the biggest Marvel movie, but as this poster shows, it can still have fun and humor.

Hit the jump to check out the Ant-Man poster, and check back tonight for the first trailer.  The film opens in 3D on July 17th, and also stars Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, Tip “Ti” Harris, David Dastmalchian, Wood Harris, Jordi Mollà, and Michael Peña. [Update: We've added EW's Ant-Man cover, which shows Rudd in full costume, but I'm grateful the image isn't being used for the poster since it makes him look like he has freakishly tiny legs.]
