The very first Ant-Man trailer debuted this evening during the premiere of Marvel’s new ABC series Agent Carter, and since this is our first look at the latest addition to the MCU, we’ve gone ahead and put together a collection of images pulled from the trailer.  The footage is a bit light on effects sequences due to the hectic production schedule, which was expected, and the shots of Ant-Man riding the flying ant were actually shown to us at Comic-Con this summer, before principal photography on the film even began.  The trailer also gives us the now obligatory “hero shirtless” shot, which has become one of the staples of the Marvel films.  Though if I were Paul Rudd and I had put that much work into physically preparing for the film, I think I’d want people to know it too.

Take a look at the Ant-Man trailer images after the jump, which also feature quick looks at Corey Stoll, Michael Douglas, and Evangeline LillyAnt-Man opens in theaters on July 17th.
