With a movie like Denis Villeneuve's sci-fi mystery Arrival, going in knowing as little as possible is the best course of action. So you'd be forgiven for skipping over the latest and final trailer for the film. If you still need a bit more convincing to check out the movie featuring Amy Adams as a linguistic expert who attempts to establish communication with aliens in order to prevent a world war, then by all means, take a look.
Arrival also stars Jeremy Renner, Forest Whitaker and Michael Stuhlbarg (Steve Jobs), and features a screenplay by Eric Heisserer based on Ted Chiang's short story, "Story of Your Life." The film is scheduled for release on November 11th.
Check out the final trailer for Arrival below, plus a new poster:
When mysterious spacecraft touch down across the globe, an elite team - lead by expert linguist Louise Banks (Amy Adams) - are brought together to investigate. As mankind teeters on the verge of global war, Banks and the team race against time for answers – and to find them, she will take a chance that could threaten her life, and quite possibly humanity.
