In both of their current seasons, Arrow and The Flash have introduced some pretty terrific bad guys. On Arrow, we have Neal McDonough's Damien Darhk, who is currently battling Oliver (Stephen Amell) on two fronts (as Ollie and as Green Arrow), while on The Flash we've gotten the so-far-unknown, but definitely terrifying Zoom. Now, with the launch of Legends of Tomorrow -- which will be taking cast members from both shows in the form of Firestorm (Franz Drameh and Victor Garber), Atom (Brandon Routh), White Canary (Caity Lotz), Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell), and Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), as well as introducing Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill), Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee), and Hawkman (Falk Hentschel) -- we're getting the biggest baddie of the ages: Vandal Savage (Casper Crump).

The immortal Savage will kick-start Legends in epic fashion, but first, he has to be introduced to the worlds of Star and Central Cities. Though the first promos for the crossover event have promised a ton of action, a latest extended trailer also has included some new mythology about "a cycle that has played out over the last 4000 years." Or as Barry (Grant Gustin) puts it, "we’re chasing down an immortal madman on a rampage against a reincarnated warrior priestess." Because why not? Check out the new extended trailer:

The Arrow-Flash crossover will debut in two parts: “Legends of Today” will premiere Tuesday, December 1st on The CW at 8 p.m., and “Legends of Yesterday” has the same time slot on Wednesday, December 2nd. Legends of Tomorrow will then debut January 21st. Check out the plot descriptions for crossover event below:

“Legends of Today”: In its second major crossover event with Arrow, Vandal Savage (guest star Casper Crump) arrives in Central City and sets his sights on Kendra Saunders (guest star Ciara Renée). After Vandal attacks Kendra and Cisco (Carlos Valdes), they turn to Barry (Grant Gustin) for help. Realizing how dangerous Vandal is, Barry takes Kendra to Star City and asks Oliver and team to hide her until he can figure out how to stop Vandal. However, things quickly go from bad to worse when a man with wings AKA Hawkman (guest star Falk Hentschel) shows up and flies off with Kendra. Meanwhile, Harrison (Tom Cavanagh) develops a serum to make Barry run faster and asks Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) to test it out.

“Legends of Yesterday”: Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Barry Allen (guest star Grant Gustin) take Kendra Saunders (guest star Ciara Renée) and Carter Hall (guest star Falk Henstchel) to a remote location to keep them hidden from Vandal Savage (guest star Casper Crump) while they figure out how to defeat him. Malcolm (John Barrowman) arranges a meeting between Vandal, Green Arrow and The Flash that doesn’t go as planned. Meanwhile, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards), Thea (Willa Holland), Diggle (David Ramsey) and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) work with Team Flash to come up with a weapon powerful enough to destroy Vandal Savage.
