The CW has unveiled the first Arrow Season 4 trailer, and it's packed with new costumes and character introductions. You can catch glimpses of Matt Ryan's Constantine revival, as well as new characters Mr. Terrific (Echo Kellum), Anarky (Alexander Calvert) and Season 4's big bad Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), who has been described as "pure evil".

The trailer picks up where  Season 3 left off, with Oliver (Stephen Amell) determined to give up the vigilante life and settle down for domestic bliss with Felecity (Emily Bett Rickards), but when a new threat surfaces in Starling City -- renamed Star City in memory of Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh), who is believed dead -- Oliver heads back into the field alongside his band of heroes and friends.

Finally we get a glimpse at the  long-awaited return of Sara Lance (Caity Lotz), who is briefly shown emerging from the Lazarus Pit, so she can suit up as White Canary and head over to the Arrow and The Flash spinoff Legends of Tomorrow in time for the midseason premiere. Sara was probably my favorite Arrow character, so I can't wait to see her back in action. Season 4 will also features appearances from Rutina Wesley, Parker Young, and Jeri Ryan.

Yesterday, we got our first look at Diggle's new suit, and while it looked ridiculous (and familiar) in the promo shot, it looks a little better in action, and at least that visor properly conceals his face. It's worth noting that the official trailer release call it his "inaugural form of concealment", so it sounds like this super suit is a bit of a prototype to be improved as the series goes on -- much like we've seen with Oliver and Barry's suits. Overall the trailer looks quite good, promising a bit of a creative shakeup and hopefully a more engaging run than Season 3, which was the weakest in the series to date.
