Jessica Danforth (Jeri Ryan), an old family friend of the Queens, decides to run for mayor of Star City to provide a source of inspiration. A crazed hitman, Lonnie Machin (Alexander Cuavert), targets her for death and Oliver and his team are forced to step in. In the past, Oliver infiltrates the island and finds a poppy field run by Baron Reiter (Jimmy Akingbola).

Arrow is an American television series developed by writer/producers Greg BerlantiMarc Guggenheim, and Andrew Kreisberg. It is based on the DC Comics character Green Arrow, a costumed crime-fighter created by Mort Weisinger and George Papp. The series follows billionaire playboy Oliver Queen, portrayed by Stephen Amell, who, five years after being stranded on a hostile island, returns home to fight crime and corruption as a secret vigilante whose weapon of choice is a bow and arrow.
