Though there's a certain fascination to WarCraft, Duncan Jones' adaptation of the beloved Blizzard title, it did not, under any circumstances, turn the tide on video game adaptations.   Now, all eyes are on Justin Kurzel's adaptation of Assassin's Creed, another popular title, to break the curse once and for all. Considering Kurzel did such good work with The Snowtown Murders, and worked so well with Assassin's Creed star Michael Fassbender in last year's Macbeth, there's plenty of good faith that this one will at least come out better than WarCraft, but we won't know until December 21st arrives and the film hits theaters nationwide.

For the time being, we can mull over this latest batch of images from the anticipated action epic that 20th Century Fox just released. They're mostly of Fassbender looking pretty/gritty  in different poses, but there's also one of him in the lab with Marion Cotillard, so there's that. Thankfully, everything we've seen thus far suggests he'll be doing a lot more than looking nice in the movie itself.
