I’ve yet to see the Ryan Reynolds film Buried, but I’ve heard great things. And from a flick that entirely takes place inside a coffin buried underneath the ground, that’s saying something.  This film, ATM, was written by Chris Sparling who also wrote Buried.  It marks the feature film debut of director David Brooks, and centers on a group of three coworkers in a very unpleasant situation.  The cast includes Alice Eve (She’s Out of My League), Josh Peck (Drake & Josh, The Wackness), and Brian Geraghty (The Hurt Locker).  Now, I don’t know much about the other two actors (though I’ve heard good things about Peck in The Wackness), but Geraghty was impressive as the naïve Owen Eldridge in The Hurt Locker, and Sparling is coming off of high praise for his Buried script.  I’d say this flick has a shot at surprising a few people if it lives up to the caliber of the talent behind it. Hit the jump for the first image from ATM and a brief (more like a teaser) synopsis.

Here's the brief synopsis:

Three co-workers end up in a desperate fight for survival when they become trapped by a psychotic killer.
