About Jay Snow
Jay is a freelance entertainment journalist (and future screenwriter and novelist) with nearly a decade of experience writing for various media outlets. In addition to writing for Collider, he has been published in Hypable, Digital Spy, Paste Magazine, and many other outlets. As a kid growing up in a small town (that would, technically, be considered a village), Jay found an escape in television and films. He fell in love with shows like Charmed (1998), The CW’s 90210 (2008), and Pretty Little Liars and the teen drama genre especially. Now, he is a pop culture fanatic who uses his love of writing and television to thoughtfully analyze and critique whatever he’s watching while learning everything possible to one day write and run his own series. Some of his favorite shows are those that were canceled too soon, like The CW’s Ringer (2011-12) starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, which he will continue encouraging others to watch despite not having a proper ending.
