After keeping Paul Bettany’s Vision top secret for quite some time, Marvel isn’t holding back anymore. Not only do we have that detailed look at him on the EW cover and in his own character poster, but now there’s an Avengers: Age of Ultron clip featuring Vision in action as well.

While appearing on BBC One’s The One Show, Bettany discussed the Avengers fan frenzy at last year’s San Diego Comic-Con, unveiled the scene during which his character is born in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and also confirmed that there is a connection between JARVIS and Vision:

“The flip side of that bad guy, Ultron, is Vision. They’re sort of two sides of the same coin, really. There is a link between JARVIS, who I used to play and still play in this movie, and the Vision, but I’m not allowed to say what it is.”

As for the clip itself, it certainly looks great, but you’ve still got to wonder, is Marvel unveiling way too much prior to the release? I’ve been asking that question with every new clip that drops and colleagues who have seen the film keep assuring me that there’s still loads left to discover, but after spending months wondering what Vision will look like and what he’s all about, it’s a little disappointing that I won’t get to find out in the context of the film.

You can catch the clip and Bettany talking about Vision in the video below. Avengers: Age of Ultron is due in theaters on May 1st and also stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, James Spader, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Chris Hemsworth.
