We're almost there! There are only 22 days to go until Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters, so naturally the marketing machine is fully ramped up and firing on all cylinders. Nearly every day is bringing new behind-the-scenes footage, TV spots or trailers, but the latest featurette offers a couple shots of never-before-seen footage. Most notably, a scene beteween Natasha (Scarlett Johansson) and Bruce (Mark Ruffalo) that offers a little insight into their newfound intimacy. It looks very sweet, and with Joss Whedon calling the shots, I'm sure it will end tragically.

The films opens in 3D on May 1st, and also stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, James Spader, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Chris Hemsworth. Check out the new featurette below.

Other recent footage has highlighted the arrival of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, Black Widow's mastery of the badass arts, and the camaraderie between the cast. Earlier today we got our first good look at Paul Bettany's The Vision, and yesterday we learned that Age of Ultron will have a stinger, but no post-credits scene. Feige also denied that Captain Marvel will make an appearance. Catch up on all Avengers: Age of Ultron news here.

With The Russo Brothers confirmed to direct both Avengers: Infinity War films, it's looking like Age of Ultron will be Whedon's last Marvel film for a long while. It's a bittersweet thought. His original work is amazing, and the man created two of my all time favorite TV shows, but he brings an uncanny understanding of Marvel lore and keen ensemble storyteller's sensibility to the MCU. In any case, I cannot wait to see what Whedon and co deliver with Age of Ultron.
