Even though I think Guardians of the Galaxy trumped 2012's Avengers in overall quality, I wouldn't count the supremely talented Joss Whedon out in terms of one-upping it in the Avengers: Age of Ultron. He's certainly not lacking in ability and, if this synopsis is any indication (and one assumes that it is), Age of Ultron will be insanely eventful.  It also looks like it corrects the original film's first act issues.
