This year’s Comic-Con was chock-full of peeks at upcoming films and TV shows, but one of the highlights was seeing the first footage from Avengers: Age of Ultron.  The film looks to be quite ambitious in nature, especially when it comes to the villain Ultron, played via motion capture by James Spader.  While it will be a while before the general public gets to see any footage from Joss Whedon’s sequel, Marvel unveiled some props at its Comic-Con booth, offering the first look at Ultron Mark 1, Cap’s broken shield (ominously alluded to in the footage), a piece of the Hulkbuster Iron Man armor, and Black Widow’s new ride.  All of these played a significant role in the teaser footage we saw from the film.

Take a look at the Avengers: Age of Ultron prop images after the jump, but for full context with regards to how they fit into the movie, be sure to read Matt’s extensive panel recapAvengers: Age of Ultron opens in theaters on May 1, 2015.
