Finally Avengers: Endgame is almost upon us. We will all see very soon if Joe Russo and Anthony Russo will land this 22nd MCU film in a way that satisfies the fans who've gone along on this 21 movie journey. The excitement and dread for what will happen to the Avengers is at an all-time high after the recent trailers and TV spots.

Two of the Avengers that fans have a lot of questions about heading into this movie are Hawkeye aka Ronin and Nebula. Many fans are wondering how Hawkeye will become Ronin and what role Nebula will play in the Avengers' attempt to save their friends and defeat her "father", The Mad Titan Thanos. Jeremy Renner and Karen Gillan have done good work bringing these characters to life and I've got a feeling that this movie will see them shine in their roles as they never have before.

Hawkeye is one of the members of the original Avengers team. He debuted in an uncredited cameo appearance in 2011's Thor before appearing in 2012's Avengers. The character has received its fair share of criticism from the fans over these movies. Many have wondered about his place in the team and his usefulness in their missions and int the battles against alien beings. He did not appear in Avengers: Infinity War which was not exactly met with protest from a majority of the fans. However, if what we've seen in the trailers is true then a lot of those fans are about to get a more badass version of Hawkeye in the form of Ronin. As a massive fan of Ronin in the comic books, I personally can't wait to see what the Russos have taken from his lore and installed into the canon of the MCU. Get ready for his sword-wielding skills, people!

Nebula, completely opposite to Hawkeye, has grown in estimation by the MCU fans as these series of films have gone on due to her backstory and character change. When we first encountered Nebula in 2014's Guardians of the Galaxy, she was a galactic assassin who had been trained by Ronan the Accuser and raised by her adopted father Thanos. And by adopted, I mean that Thanos killed her parents and took her as his own daughter. In the film, she attacked the Guardians in an effort to destroy Gamora, but failed in her efforts. However, it was in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 that we found out that she had formed a bond with her fellow orphan and adopted sister Gamora growing up. Nebula could never defeat her in battle, however, which was the foundation of their rivalry. The sisters came back together by the end of the film and we tentatively accepted Nebula as a hero. In Avengers: Infinity War, she was an integral part of the heroes who fought to stop Thanos from achieving his ultimate goal of snapping half the galaxy into dust. She's been a big part of the Avengers: Endgame promotional campaign which has been one of the most welcomed surprises in this ever-evolving MCU.
