It’s been a while since we last heard of highly anticipated blockbuster Barbie. Which means this is the perfect time to check out colorful character posters for the upcoming movie. Today, Warner Bros. went all out and flooded the Twitter timeline with a whopping slate of 24 character posters that showcases the all-star cast and introduces each character with some jokes thrown in here and there. The first slate of posters plays up the diversity of the Barbies that will be featured in the movie. We knew from the first trailer that Barbie would come in many forms in the movie, but these posters show just how far the movie is willing to go in order to tell a story that might surprise us in every way. There are so many Barbies played by so many talented people we can barely wrap our heads around it.

Meet All The Barbies

The poster makes each Barbie a star. Aside from Margot Robbie in the lead, the many versions of the title character will also be played by Issa Rae (president Barbie), Kate McKinnon (gymnast Barbie), Nicola Coughlan (diplomat Barbie), Alexandra Shipp (writer Barbie), Ritu Arya (journalist Barbie), Hari Nef (doctor Barbie), Emma Mackey (physicist Barbie), Dua Lipa (mermaid Barbie), Ana Cruz Kayne (judge Barbie), and Sharon Rooney (lawyer Barbie).

There’s also room for the Kens and humans in the story, which is a whole other slate of characters that got their own posters. That’s where the one-liners get funnier and funnier as you pass through them: First, Ryan Gosling is shown as Ken, and then the subsequent Kens (Ncuti Gatwa, Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir, and Scott Evans) are announced as “another Ken,” “Ken again,” and “he’s Ken too,” until we get to Michael Cera’s character, who is labeled as “there’s only one Alan.”

The slate of posters also introduces the human characters. As the trailer also made clear, Barbie will be as much a story centered around the famous doll, but also about its creation and all the business and creative decisions behind it. On the human cast we have Will Ferrell, America Ferrera, Ariana Greenblatt, Helen Mirren (as the narrator), Connor Swindells, and Jamie Demetriou. And they all have little jokes attached to their posters as well.

Barbie is directed by Greta Gerwig, and she also writes the script with Noah Baumbach. Since both of them are known are huge in the independent movie scene, the world is curious to see what they came up with when approaching a huge blockbuster about one of the most popular products in the world. But we’ll have to wait a little to discover if the Barbie world on the big screen is plastic and/or fantastic.

Barbie premieres in theaters on July, 21. You can check out the huge slate of posters below:
