One day before it's availability on shelves, Batman: Arkham Knight has released an official launch trailer for the game. The finale to the videogame series that started with Batman: Arkham Asylum and continued with Batman: Arkham City will see the title character face the ultimate threat to his beloved city in the form of the Scarecrow and an imposing lineup of supervillains. Though the deck is stacked against him, Batman (and players) will have an all-new version of the Batmobile at his disposal, one which gamers will be able to drive for the first time.

This last look at the game before it lands in gamers' hands is wonderfully enticing, but it's essentially just one last announcement before the game's launch. And I certainly hope the in-game music is much better than the choice for this particular trailer. That being said, we'll have a 'Things to Know' article on the game in the coming weeks so keep an eye out for it!

Here's the game's synopsis:

In the explosive finale to the Arkham series, Batman faces the ultimate threat against the city he is sworn to protect. The Scarecrow returns to unite an impressive roster of super villains, including Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn, to destroy The Dark Knight forever. Batman: Arkham Knight introduces Rocksteady's uniquely designed version of the Batmobile, which is drivable for the first time in the franchise. The addition of this legendary vehicle, combined with the acclaimed gameplay of the Batman Arkham series, offers gamers the ultimate and complete Batman experience as they tear through the streets and soar across the skyline of the entirety of Gotham City. Be The Batman.
