Just a short time ago I was standing on the red carpet at CinemaCon talking to the stars and filmmakers of the Warner Bros. panel. While I’ll have a ton of video interviews to post over the coming days, I wanted to share a bit of my interview with Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer. While the two were in town to promote their upcoming Guy Ritchie film, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., as a huge fan of Man of Steel I had to also talk to Cavill about Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. While I knew he’d be guarded, I needed to try.
As you’ll see in the video below, I started by trying to get Cavill to confirm he’d be at Comic-Con and then I attempted to ask about the experience of making Batman v Superman and how it differed from Man of Steel. However, that went nowhere. But after I asked that question, I handed the interview over to Armie Hammer who then proceeded to ask Cavill his own Batman v Superman questions.
The fact is Zack Snyder has a history of premiering kick-ass footage at Comic-Con and I know for certain this summer will be no different. If you’re a DC fan looking forward to their upcoming movies, I strongly suggest being in Hall H at Comic-Con during the WB panel. Who knows…DC films might even have their own panel. That’s not confirmed, but it wouldn’t surprise me.
More with Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer soon.
