As I ponder the relative lack of footage released of Captain America: Civil War, I now turn your attention to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, a film that has seemingly put most of its cards on the table. Though we’ve already seen the likes of Lex Luthor, Doomsday, some Darkseid teases, Wonder Woman, and the epic battle between day and night, a batch of new TV spots have the slightest bit of new footage. Nevertheless, it’s worth a look.

So, what exactly is new? A brief shot of Holly Hunter as Sen. Finch, someone who takes the anti-Superman side. Also, the Man of Steel pummeling Batman up through a building, xand some different angles of Bruce Wayne looking at his Batsuit and the Dark Knight getting literally dragged through the coals. In short, not much. But when it comes to the showdown of DC titans, any new footage is good footage.

Watch the four TV spots below.

Following the events of Man of Steel, which saw the battle between Kal-El and Zod devastate Metropolis, some see Superman (Henry Cavill) as a savior and some, like Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck), as a potential threat to mankind. While these two superheroes collide in a heated smackdown, Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) is planning something even more nefarious that speaks “Doom” for the world. Then there’s the second part of the film’s title: Dawn of Justice speaks to how the film will set up Justice League: Part One, partly by introducing Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot). Laurence Fishburne, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, and Jeremy Irons also feature among the cast.

There’s a lot going on in Batman v Superman, which sets the stage — even more so than Man of Steel — for the ensuing DC cinematic universe. The film will be released in theaters on March 25th.
