Which side will you choose? That’s the question posed to audiences in the new poster for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and this evening Warner Bros. also released a pair of new TV spots for the film, unveiling a few pieces of brand new footage. I do like that WB is taking advantage of the marketing opportunity for a movie like this by divvying up their promo materials. The first of these new TV spots is Superman-centric, as Henry Cavill’s Clark Kent argues his case against the vigilante nature of Batman. And the other TV spot is—you guessed it—Batman-centric, with Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne venting vehemently to Alfred (Jeremy Irons) about the immense threat that Superman poses to society given that he can, you know, wipe us all out.

It’s certainly a 180 from the most recent theatrical trailer for the film, which basically laid out much of the plot for Zack Snyder’s superhero epic, showing scenes from the portion of the film when Batman and Superman eventually team up. While we all know these guys are gonna make nice by the end of the movie, it would’ve been neat if Warner Bros. kept footage from that portion of the film under wraps, focusing solely on the titular butting of heads in the build-up to the movie. It’s not like this thing isn’t already gonna make boatloads of money.

The new poster is a tad awkward—not sure anything’s gonna top those single one-sheets Warner Bros. released last year—but it does provide a nearly full-body shot of Batman’s costume, so there’s that.

Take a look at all the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice goodies below, via Warner Bros. The film opens in theaters on March 25th—which is soon!

Here’s the official synopsis for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice:

Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs.  And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
