Ahead of tomorrow’s trailer debut, Disney has unveiled the first Big Hero 6 trailer tease and poster for the upcoming animated film.  Ever since Disney brought Marvel under its banner, fans have been clamoring to see some sort of collaboration between the two companies on an animated feature (and, possibly in vain, hoping for a Marvel/Pixar movie).  The first collaboration between Walt Disney Studios and Marvel will hit theaters this November by way of an adaptation of the relatively obscure comic Big Hero 6, which takes place in the high-tech city of San Fransokyo and tells the story of a robotics prodigy named Hiro Hamada who, with his robot companion Baymax in tow, teams up with a reluctant team of first-time crime fighters to save the metropolis from destruction.  This debut poster teases the heights to which Hiro and Baymax can climb, and the trailer tease gives us our first (brief) look at some footage.

Hit the jump to check out the Big Hero 6 trailer tease and poster, click here to see a collection of new images, and come back tomorrow to watch the full trailer.  The film opens in 3D on November 7th and features the voices of T.J. Miller, Jamie Chung, and Maya Rudolph.

Here’s the official synopsis for Big Hero 6:

"Big Hero 6" is a heartfelt comedy adventure about robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who learns to harness his genius—thanks to his brilliant brother Tadashi and their like-minded friends: adrenaline junkie Go Go Tamago, clean freak Wasabi No-Ginger, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred. When a devastating turn of events catapults them into the midst of a dangerous plot unfolding in the streets of San Fransokyo, Hiro turns to his closest companion—a cutting-edge robot named Baymax—and transforms the group into a band of high-tech heroes determined to solve the mystery. Inspired by the Marvel comics of the same name, and featuring comic-book style action and all the heart and humor audiences expect from Walt Disney Animation Studios, "Big Hero 6" is directed by Don Hall ("Winnie the Pooh") and Chris Williams ("Bolt"), and produced by Roy Conli ("Tangled"). The film hits theaters in 3D on November 7, 2014.
