Mad Max: Fury Road will probably land in my Top 10 of 2015. It’s easily one of the best films I’ve seen so far this year, and that’s not a contrary opinion. The film garnered near unanimous support among critics, and while it hasn’t blown up the box office like other movies, I believe it will have serious legs.

Bill Hader is among those who can’t get enough of George Miller’s magnum opus, and he recently spoke to Steve about the film at the press day for the actor’s latest movie, Inside Out. Watch the video below:

Hader expressed how it wasn’t just his love for the movie, but it’s power to win over people who don’t think it’s in their wheelhouse. Specifically, his wife, writer-director Maggie Carey (The To-Do List), was won over by the insane action movie:

BILL HADER: I liked Mad Max so much that my wife and I went to go see it, and it started and she said, “This is not my kind of movie,” and then it ended, and she said, “I want to watch that again,” and I said, “Yeah.” And she was like, “No. I want to watch it right now,” and we went out, got back in line, and went and saw it again. And I’ve seen it four times in the theater.

In addition to call Fury Road “the best action film in decades,” he also mentioned how South Park co-creator Matt Stone had the best line when it came to appreciating the movie:

HADER: I think the person who said it the best was Matt Stone from South Park. I go, “Did you see Mad Max?” and he goes, “Yeah.”

“Well what’d you think of it?”

He said, “Going to see it for the third time, I’m wearing a suit.”

Matt Stone wins.
