You can add another Bourne film to the massive list of high-profile movies set for release in 2015.  Universal Pictures announced today that the untitled follow-up to The Bourne Legacy will be released on August 14, 2015, where it will open opposite The Smurfs 3.  As previously reported, Fast Five helmer Justin Lin will be directing the new installment with Jeremy Renner reprising his lead role from LegacyAnthony Peckham (Sherlock Holmes) is penning the screenplay, making this the first Bourne film not written by Tony Gilroy.

Additionally, Universal has dated director Luc Besson’s new action thriller Lucy for August 8, 2014, directly opposite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and one week after Marvel’s Guardians of the GalaxyScarlett Johansson stars as a reluctant drug mule who is transformed into an incredible fighter capable of clairvoyance, telekinesis, and an ability to disregard pain and emotion when one of the designer drugs enters her system.  Unfortunately, she’s also racing against the clock to survive.  Morgan Freeman also stars.  For a refresher on just how packed the 2015 release calendar is, hit the jump.
