Just yesterday we brought you the wondrous news that not only is Neil Gaiman's award-winning American Gods being adapted for a Starz series of indeterminate length, but it's being handled by showrunners Bryan Fuller (Hannibal) and Michael Green (Heroes). And when it comes to simply gorgeous set dressing and luxurious writing, look no further than Fuller's television work. This property is in good hands. As if to remind people of that fact, Fuller recently tweeted out a few pieces of concept art related to his newest project. Don't be concerned, they're Gaiman-approved.

Take a look at Fuller's first teases for American Gods below:

Here’s the official plot synopsis from the press release:

The plot posits a war brewing between old and new gods: the traditional gods of biblical and mythological roots from around the world steadily losing believers to an upstart pantheon of gods reflecting society’s modern love of money, technology, media, celebrity and drugs. Its protagonist, Shadow Moon, is an ex-con who becomes bodyguard and traveling partner to Mr. Wednesday, a conman but in reality one of the older gods, on a cross-country mission to gather his forces in preparation to battle the new deities.

There's currently no release date set for American Gods on Starz, but if these early teases are any indication then it's going to look absolutely heavenly.
